Weare seeking a Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join aphysician-led organization in Glendale, AZ focused on building and supportinghigh-performing surgical teams across the United States. Our model emphasizespredictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and allowing surgeons to focuson delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital-based setting. Thisposition supports a Level II Trauma Center and offers the opportunity to workalongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative,well-supported environment. The practice provides a balanced mix of operativeand non-operative trauma care while maintaining a strong commitment to qualityoutcomes and patient-centered care. Schedule 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts) Blocked scheduling with 7-day stretches Built-in recovery time between rotations Responsibilities Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients Participate in trauma call coverage Manage a broad range of fracture care and orthopedic injuries Collaborate with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalist, and rehabilitation teams Balance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities Ensure timely documentation and high-quality patient care Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred Experience managing orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based setting Eligible for Arizona medical licensure Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges Extras: Generous (above market) hourly rate All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate Med-mal and tail insurance covered Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts
