Job Opportunity: Pediatric Cardiologist

Our organization is in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist with a focus on non-invasive imaging. While a fourth year of specialized training in non-invasive imaging is preferred, it is not mandatory.

The selected candidate will become part of a dedicated team of academic pediatric cardiologists, offering a comprehensive range of clinical pediatric cardiology services. This includes expertise in:

• Multi-modal diagnostic imaging
• Interventional cardiology
• Electrophysiology
• Fetal cardiology
• Heart failure
• Cardiac transplantation
• Pulmonary hypertension

Academic positions will be available starting at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with adjustments made based on prior experience.

Our Children’s Hospital is a 364-bed tertiary/quaternary facility located in Loma Linda, California, serving the pediatric population of the Inland Empire and the Greater Southern California area. In 2021, we inaugurated a cutting-edge medical center that houses pediatric cardiac imaging services, including echocardiography, stress testing, and catheterization laboratories equipped with two advanced biplane Siemens Artis q.Zen systems. Our Heart program has been recognized among the top 10 by US News and World Report, performing around 300 cardiac surgeries and numerous catheterization procedures annually. We conduct approximately 9,000 echocardiograms each year, including 1,100 fetal echocardiograms.

Our Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with the Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, and School of Medicine, committed to providing holistic care with a focus on clinical excellence. The Medical Center is the largest tertiary referral center in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, catering to a population nearing 4 million.

The local educational institutions are among the finest in California.

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $296,000 to $345,000, adjusted according to experience and faculty rank. This figure does not encompass variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans.
