Job Overview law firm seeks an experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney to join their practice in Holland, MI. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of over 30 attorneys and paralegals, advising clients on complex estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, business succession, and probate litigation. Duties Develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients' needs and goals. Advise clients on tax implications and strategies to minimize liabilities. Handle probate processes, including court proceedings and asset distribution. Manage and administer trusts in compliance with laws and agreements. Identify and pursue business development opportunities. Requirements Strong foundation in estate planning, tax law, probate law, and trust law. Experience assisting families and individuals with estate planning needs. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex legal concepts. Ability to actively listen and provide aligned legal advice. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex situations. Precision in drafting legal documents to reflect clients' intentions. Handles sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Education Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan.
