Our client is a successful manufacturer who has continued to grow and expand their central Ohio footprint. They are currently searching for a talented Manufacturing Engineer.  This is a full-time/direct hire opening.  They were founded in the early 1900’s and have grown to be the industry leader for products that help people every day.

The current opening is for a Manufacturing Engineer. Main duties include:

• Optimize manufacturing processes to produce products safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
• Ensure equipment performs at optimal levels
• Use data-driven solutions to continuously improve existing and new processes
• Identify and address efficiency bottlenecks and process shortcomings
• Lead root-cause analysis to drive process efficiency and reduce quality defects
• Define specifications for new and existing equipment
• Participate in internal and external quality audits

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
• Prior work experience in medical device manufacturing preferred
• Project management experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable presenting data and proposals in meeting settings
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
