Operations Supervisor- Distribution- Day Shift

Job Summary Oversee daily warehouse operations and a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient and accurate fulfillment of medical‑surgical product orders from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM until completion of daily tasks. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and customer service. Schedule: Monday‑Friday; Time: 9:00 AM until daily tasks are completed; Location: Tolleson, AZ. Job Responsibilities Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, including performance management and scheduling. Monitor and manage daily operational workflows, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping processes, to meet performance targets. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, FDA). Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility and equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards. Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and productivity. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory control activities. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., customer service, transportation) to ensure seamless operations. Prepare and present operational reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Perform hands‑on warehouse duties as required to support the team and meet operational goals. Job Qualifications Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast‑paced environment. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods. Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM until daily tasks are completed, which may include overtime. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Knowledge of medical‑surgical products or pharmaceutical distribution is a plus. Compensation Our Base Pay Range for this position: $57,400 - $95,600. In addition to base pay, other compensation may be offered, such as an annual bonus or long‑term incentive opportunities.
