Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.18 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support emergency and medical-related response activities by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and helping to maintain orderly conditions during high-stress situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
