Line Operator 1st Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Line 3 Operator to work on an automated production line using robotic and machine-based equipment. This position involves rotating between stations to process, handle, and inspect blades while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment and conveyors.
• Load blades onto the line for heating and processing.
• Safely transfer heated blades into presses and quench systems.
• Hang finished parts for painting and remove them after processing.
• Perform visual inspections for defects and quality issues.
• Rotate between different production stations throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures when working around furnaces, presses, and machinery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Comfortable working around automated and robotic equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and rotate between workstations.
• Ability to lift 4050 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and basic measuring skills.
• Dependable team player with good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areas.

Work Environment

This position works in a clean, organized manufacturing environment with automated equipment, ovens, furnaces, and presses. The area can become hot at times. Employees rotate between stations and perform a combination of machine operation, material handling, and quality inspection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
