JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-CRNA-38792 Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Reading, PA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Jun 30, 2027 Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7a – 5p (4 shifts per week) Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: Varies Rounding: Assigned Patients Case Mix: General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedics, L&D, Cath Lab, CV Lab, IR, Intubations FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 1, Office Staff: 1 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: General Anesthesia Adult Pediatric Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery Obstetrical Cases Neurosurgical cases (Head, Spine) Complex vascular cases (except open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Pain management techniques (Post-op epidural, Post-op extremity blocks, Epidural steroid for Lumbar, Epidural steroid for Cervical) Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line placement Arterial Line placement PA Catheter placement JOB REQUIREMENTS Board Certified Licenses: Licensed in PA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Other (CRNA board certified) Duties & Responsibilities Provide anesthesia for all surgical cases including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, L&D, Cath lab, CV lab, and IR. Perform house wide intubations as needed. Manage anesthesia care for patients across various age groups and case complexities. Collaborate with surgical team and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety. Document and manage patient records in Epic EMR.
