Overview
For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
- Provides routine clinical mentoring to COTA's, Rehabilitation Aides/ Senior Nursing Attendants, students and/or volunteers.
- Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
Requirements
- BS in Occupational Therapy – Required.
- Master's Degree - Preferred.
- NY State OT License and Registration – Required.
- BLS (American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross) - Required.
