Work Environment

Located in the heart of Orlando, our onsite facility offers a supportive and engaging work environment. The Rehabilitation Facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, treatment rooms, and therapeutic modalities designed to enhance patient care. Our team collaborates closely in an open setting, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations, identifying their needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced assessment techniques to collect necessary data and prepare detailed documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Implement treatment protocols that align with patients' individual goals and conditions, ensuring adherence to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy.
• Engage in multidisciplinary consultations as necessary, evaluating changes in patient conditions and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Oversee patient discharge planning, ensuring that all follow-up care is accurately documented to reflect the patient's progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical training requirements while actively participating in team meetings, in-services, and relevant educational conferences.
• Manage a caseload effectively to ensure high-quality care and maximize departmental productivity, while adapting efficiently to an evolving healthcare landscape.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through participation in Access NRH initiatives, aiming to address barriers to care and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, neurological impairments, and post-surgical rehabilitation. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships and understanding each patient's unique experiences, you will play a critical role in assisting them in regaining independence and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice as a physical therapist in Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with patients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Experience with digital health solutions or treatment applications is a plus.
