Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting, focusing on critical care medication management, including drips and controlled substances
• Conduct medication therapy reviews and ensure accuracy and safety in drug administration
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to meet regulatory standards and improve medication outcomes
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication protocols
• Complete required training modules (1-2 full days) prior to starting

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active South Carolina pharmacist license required
• 1 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years considered due to need for minimal training
• Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations, critical care medications, and controlled substances management
• Epic electronic health record experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices in pharmacy
