1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants SH – 711 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN Douglas CO,NE Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis at our long term care facility in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Help residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe and proper techniques. Monitor and record residents’ vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care. Accurately document care provided and any changes in residents’ condition. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful environment. Requirements Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Nebraska. Previous experience in a long term care facility preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move residents, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work on a PRN basis, including weekends and holidays as needed.
