Registered Nurse Cardiac Telemetry

We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join an interdisciplinary team, providing expert nursing care through the application of the nursing process. Key Responsibilities Include Assessing patient status via interview, observation, and physical examination. Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team. Implementing interventions to achieve patient outcomes and evaluating progress continuously. Documenting care and patient responses accurately, ensuring compliance with policies. Demonstrating professional accountability, seeking resources, and maintaining current clinical knowledge. Operating and troubleshooting medical equipment; performing bedside lab testing with quality control. Promoting patient and staff safety through proper equipment use and safe handling techniques. Providing patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs, ensuring understanding and safety. Participating in performance improvement activities, data collection, and unit projects to enhance care quality. Collaborating with team members, delegating tasks appropriately, and advocating for patients when needed. Qualifications And Skills Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days (AHA). Current Illinois RN license. Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and documentation skills.
