Major Responsibilities
- Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
- Knowledgeable about co‑teaching, universal education and co‑treating strategies.
- Participates in school‑wide professional development programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
- Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and ongoing data/progress monitoring.
Qualifications
- Valid license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre‑employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
- Educational technology skills.
Salary
According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
