This role partners closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and deliver actionable insights to support project success.What You'll DoFinancial Management & ReportingServe as the financial liaison for assigned projects, supporting Project Management with accurate and timely reporting.Oversee project accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual costs against budgets.Prepare detailed financial reports on project performance in alignment with accounting standards.Manage project-related billing processes and perform reconciliations.Financial AnalysisAnalyze project costs, identify variances, and provide detailed explanations to stakeholders.Compile and evaluate financial data to support operational decision-making.Perform return-on-investment analyses for capital expenditures and provide recommendations.Compliance & Process ImprovementEnsure all project financial activities adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.Evaluate and improve project accounting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Risk ManagementIdentify financial risks associated with projects and recommend mitigation strategies.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Communicate with customers regarding billing, costs, and audit requests.Represent the organization professionally, upholding high standards of integrity and ethics.Perform additional duties as assigned.What You'll BringKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong ability to perform due diligence and assess financial risk.High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated AccomplishmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for financial analysis and reporting.Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices.Knowledge of financial accounting concepts and methodologies.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in project accounting or a related financial role.What You'll GetWorking Conditions:The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment. Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.Benefits Overview:IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. In addition, employees are offered a substantial amount of PTO and are immediately eligible to make contributions to a generously matched and fully vested 401k.Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000*Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.*
