Accounting Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage accounts receivable by overseeing invoicing, collections, and resolving discrepancies.
• Handle accounts payable by reviewing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks Online, and Paychex systems.
• Utilize strong Excel skills, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex accounting tasks.
• Communicate effectively with professionals at all organizational levels.
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks independently.

• 3+ years of accounting experience in payroll, AR, and AP functions.
• Possess hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting processes.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Display ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiencies.
