Seasonal Camp Site Lead

Overview The role of the Summer Camp Site Lead is to directly support the implementation of the After School & Summer Youth Program. The Site Lead will focus on fulfilling grant measures by managing the execution of curriculum, lessons, and daily operations. The Site Lead will work with the director, program assistants, volunteers, and community partners to implement and facilitate educational activities that promote healthy lifestyles, positive personal development and wellness, and to engage and support students aged 5 to 17 and their families in the community. Requirements Seasonal Position - June 1 - July 24, 2026 Position Responsibilities Assist in carrying out and evaluating program curriculum. Active group supervision of youth with attention to program goals, health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, routine duties, character and skill development. Create open lines of communication between parents, program staff, and on-site staff. Promote youth participation in all program activities. Maintain appropriate records and statistics, and complete reports and evaluations as per guidelines. Coordinate and implement field trips and outings. Manage member attendance through sign-in/out sheets. Manage supplies and organize daily activities. Model personal habits, health, dress, speech, table etiquette, manners, and relationships with other staff as a positive example for youth. Keep program spaces organized. At the end of the day, return everything to how it was in the morning. Assist with transportation of the participants. Coordinate daily/weekly pick-up meals and snacks from the Foodbank and other sites. Responsible for submitting meal counts, injury/behavior reports, and attendance to the director daily. Must be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Adhering to safety training and protocols daily, and taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others. Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization, including client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information. Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory. Every employee is required to take a solution-oriented approach in their interactions and undertakings, and to be a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization. Other summer camp duties as assigned by Director and/or Senior Director. Must complete all assigned professional trainings in a timely manner. Ability to work with children in a respectful and empowering manner Strong background in working with children and youth; preferred to be studying or have obtained an education degree and/or have work experience. Must be able to work outdoors for more than 3 hours. Must be able to walk 2-3 hours during work hours.
