This role supports optimal performance and safety of our products, providing essential support to our valued customers. This role requires significant travel (75%) and adherence to all federal, state, and local codes, as well as Airgas policies.* In this role, you will contribute to the reliability of gas delivery systems, welding equipment, and related machinery at customer locations through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.* Ideally, you bring the ability to understand and resolve equipment malfunctions, understanding root causes to implement effective repair solutions.* You will help our customers by installing new gas and welding equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and a shared commitment to safety standards.* Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules to support system longevity and minimize downtime.* Provide technical support and foster understanding with customers regarding the proper operation and maintenance of Airgas equipment.* Maintain accurate service records, documentation of repairs, and a well-organized inventory of parts used.* Maintain alignment with all safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements while performing duties.* We are looking for someone to care for a company service vehicle, including maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and performing routine inspections.* Communicate effectively and foster understanding with customers, sales teams, and internal departments regarding service calls and equipment status.* Participate in a collaborative on-call rotation for emergency service as required.## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?## **Required Qualifications:*** Minimum of 2+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or a related technical role.* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.* Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company vehicle safely.* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold).* Commitment to safety and adherence to all company and industry safety standards.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, industrial mechanics, electronics) preferred.* Experience with gas delivery systems, welding equipment, or industrial gas applications is highly desirable.* Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize service calls.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**Benefits**We care about and support our Airgas Families.
