Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Steep Slope Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for a highly skilled roofer who can manage complex and high-end steep slope roofing projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure exceptional craftsmanship and client satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays Proven experience as a roofing technician or similar role, ideally 2+ years. Basic carpentry and construction knowledge Ability to lift 80# Ability to perform tasks that require climbing, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights. Dedicated to upholding company values CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be assigned) Lead installation, maintenance, and repairs of steep slope roofing systems, including slate, tile, copper, custom metal, and architectural roofs. Handle complex roof structures such as dormers, turrets, valleys, and multi-level pitches. Troubleshoot and resolve challenging roofing issues with advanced problem-solving skills. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards. Communicate with clients regarding roof condition, repair/replacement options, and project updates. Conduct detailed inspections and provide thorough service reports. Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in roofing is a plus. Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
