This hands-on leader directs and develops the production team, ensures flawless execution of manufacturing processes, and champions continuous improvement. With a focus on best practices and strict regulatory compliance, the supervisor keeps operations running at peak performance while delivering results that meet and exceed expectations.### ### Shift: Monday - Friday – 8 hour shift, 8AM to 4PM (Additional hours as required to meet the objectives of the department)### ### Responsibilities: **Supervision and Leadership: 30+ direct Reports*** ### Provide guidance and direction to production team* ### Lead and motivate team to meet production goals* ### Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback* ### Identify and address any issues or conflicts within the team### Production Planning and Coordination:* ### Develop and implement production schedules* ### Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow* ### Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements* ### Troubleshoot and resolve any production related issues### Quality Control:* ### Ensure products meet company quality standards* ### Conduct quality inspections and audits* ### Implement and maintain quality control procedures* ### Address any quality issues or concerns in a timely manner### Budget and Cost Management:* ### Monitor and control production costs* ### Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements* ### Prepare and track production budgets* ### Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.### Communication and Reporting:* ### Communicate production updates and issues to upper management* ### Provide regular reports on production progress and performance* ### Coordinate with other departments for product launches or changes* ### Maintain open and clear communication with production team members.### Team Management:* ### Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.* ### Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.* ### Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.### ### Adaptability:* ### Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. This includes setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and adapting strategies as necessary.### Qualifications:* ### High School diploma with at least 4 years of industry experience, 1+ year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.* ### In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.* ### Experience with developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures.* ### Excellent organizational and time management skills.* ### Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* ### Effective communication and interpersonal skills.* ### Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.### Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position### The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
