You'll partner with healthcare professionals, solve complex technical challenges, and grow your expertise in cutting-edge medical technology, automation, and robotics.What You'll DoAs a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver high-quality service and technical expertise to healthcare customers while ensuring the performance and reliability of Omnicell solutions.Primary ImpactEnsure the uptime, reliability, and performance of Omnicell's automation systems, enabling healthcare providers to deliver safe, efficient patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical, automation, and system issues onsite to restore functionality quickly and effectively.Perform Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.Deliver Exceptional Service: Build strong relationships with nursing, pharmacy, and healthcare leaders through clear communication and responsiveness.Manage Service Events: Accurately document all service activities, including repairs, escalations, and follow-ups in accordance with company policies.Drive Operational Excellence: Meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs), response times, and customer satisfaction standards.Escalate & Collaborate: Identify product issues, bugs, or design challenges and escalate through appropriate technical support channels.Inventory & Logistics Management: Maintain trunk stock, manage parts inventory, and ensure timely return of materials.Cross-Functional Engagement: Partner with internal teams to improve service delivery, product performance, and customer experience.Level DifferentiationField Service Engineer IPerform moderate-complexity troubleshooting and maintenance with guidance as neededSupport healthcare staff at the manager levelDevelop foundational expertise in Omnicell systems and healthcare workflowsField Service Engineer IIIndependently perform advanced troubleshooting and system repairsEngage with director-level stakeholders to resolve complex issuesProvide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team membersWho You AreMinimum Qualifications (Both Levels)Coursework or training in Network Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or related fieldExperience working in a hospital or healthcare environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issuesEffective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersValid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirementsPreferred QualificationsField Service Engineer IBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Experience troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, or computer-based systemsField Service Engineer IIOne of the following:Bachelor's degree + 1+ year of relevant experienceAssociate degree/trade certification/military training + 4+ years of experience7+ years equivalent hands-on experienceKnowledge of FDA regulations, medical device standards, and Quality Management SystemsProven ability to work independently on complex technical issuesHow You'll Elevate At OmnicellAt Omnicell, success is defined not just by what you do, but how you do it.
