Forensic Social Worker: Mitigation & Court Advocacy

The Legal Aid Society seeks Forensic Social Workers for its Brooklyn Office to interview clients and collateral contacts to build life histories highlighting mitigating factors. You will advocate for alternatives to detention or incarceration and work with attorneys to develop treatment plans and court strategies. You will assess readiness for treatment, provide crisis intervention, and help secure appropriate services, while maintaining strong written and oral communication with clients and the #J-18808-Ljbffr Out Professionals
