Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication and language development on a part-time, on-site contract assignment for the upcoming school year. Interviews are scheduled for the week of June 22nd, with roles starting July 1, 2026, and running through June 30, 2027. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required) working in a school setting, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference while enjoying a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours a week.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) professional license
• Valid state educator certificate
• Minimum of one year experience in a school-based SLP role required
• Ability and willingness to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to the assignment’s start
• DCDEE fingerprinting clearance needed before working with students
• Experience serving PreK-12 student populations preferred
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEPs and assessed needs
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized goals for students
• Adapt and implement evidence-based interventions for diverse learning needs
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation compliant with school policies
