Schedule: Mon - Friday day shift


Salary: $15,000 - $185,000 + Bonus + Profit Sharing + health

• Provide hands-on engineering support for power plant electrical systems while also supporting mechanical equipment, balance-of-plant systems, and overall site reliability.
  
  
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues, identify root causes of failures, and develop corrective actions to improve plant reliability and availability.
  
  
• Lead and participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for forced outages, equipment failures, safety events, and recurring operational issues.
  
  
• Manage capital and major maintenance projects from initial scope development and budgeting through engineering, execution, commissioning, and project closeout.
  
  
• Provide technical support for electrical equipment including generators, transformers, switchgear, motors, protective relays, MCCs, and associated plant distribution systems.
  
  
• Support maintenance and operations teams with equipment evaluations, system modifications, performance improvements, and long-term reliability initiatives across the site.
  
  
• Maintain and update engineering documentation, drawings, equipment specifications, technical standards, and project records.
  
  
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements, with preference given to candidates with knowledge of NERC standards, electrical reliability requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
