Cypress Street Pint & Plate is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwashers to join our Back of House team. Located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Cypress Street Pint & Plate is a neighborhood restaurant and bar known for approachable food, cold drinks, and genuine hospitality. Our team works together in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where every position plays an important role in creating a great experience for our guests.

We are looking for Dishwashers who understand that a clean, organized kitchen is essential to a successful restaurant. This position requires someone who works with a sense of urgency, takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the kitchen team. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, able to maintain pace during high-volume service, and committed to keeping the dish area and kitchen clean, safe, and ready for service.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous restaurant dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant is a plus
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to stay organized while managing a continuous flow of dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment

• Flexible availability for AM, PM, weekend, and late-night shifts

Position Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize plates, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Operate and maintain the commercial dishwashing equipment properly
• Keep clean dishes and equipment organized and returned to the appropriate areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing station throughout the shift
• Keep up with dish volume during busy service periods
• Empty trash and recycling and maintain designated waste areas
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and Back of House floors
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, walls, and storage areas
• Maintain proper sanitation and chemical safety standards
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when additional products are needed
• Assist with receiving, organizing, or putting away restaurant supplies when requested
• Support basic kitchen prep and cleaning responsibilities as assigned
• Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing duties
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health department, and company standards
• Work collaboratively with cooks, managers, and other team members to keep the kitchen running efficiently

Schedule and Availability

Cypress Street Pint & Plate operates throughout the day and into the late evening, and we are currently seeking Dishwashers with availability across multiple shifts.

Current shift needs include:

• AM shifts
• PM shifts
• Late-night shifts
• Weekday and weekend availability
• Holidays and special events
• Opening and closing shifts

Late-night availability is especially important for closing shifts. Applicants should be comfortable working until all assigned closing and cleaning responsibilities are completed, which may extend beyond the restaurant's guest-facing hours.

Schedules will be based on restaurant needs and individual availability. The strongest candidates will be dependable, flexible, and available for a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or commercial dishwashing experience is preferred but not required for candidates with a strong work ethic
• High-volume restaurant experience is a plus
• Must be able to work quickly while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Must be comfortable working in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment
• Must be able to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and safely lift restaurant supplies and equipment
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
• Must be available for the shift requirements associated with the position
