We’re seeking a Site Superintendent for our partner, a growing organization in the industrial/power equipment space, that supports the delivery and installation of large engineered equipment at customer sites. This is a highly visible, field-based leadership role for someone who is comfortable being the face of the company on site, managing install activity, coordinating field teams, and ensuring projects are executed safely, professionally, and on schedule. This is not an office-based construction role. This is a travel-heavy, hands-on field leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being on active jobsites and solving problems in real time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the on-site delivery, inspection, and installation of large industrial/power-related equipment
• Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for customers, installers, riggers, subcontractors, and general contractors
• Coordinate field activity and ensure work is progressing safely, efficiently, and professionally
• Inspect incoming equipment for shipping damage, missing materials, or installation issues
• Verify shipments and communicate discrepancies to internal teams
• Help resolve technical questions, field conflicts, and punch-list items in real time
• Provide regular site updates, progress documentation, and photos to internal leadership
• Lead and support a growing team of field technicians
• Partner with service, startup, and warranty teams to ensure smooth closeout and turnover
• Will oversee 4–5 field technicians

What Our Client Is Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in field supervision, construction, industrial installation, mechanical/electrical installation, or equipment-focused site leadership
• Experience in power generation, generators, enclosures, fuel systems, heavy equipment, industrial mechanical, or electrical environments strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret installation drawings, site plans, and field documents
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers and field stakeholders
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in the field
• Comfortable leading teams and owning site execution
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in hot-weather environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license required

Travel/Location Info

• This role requires approximately 80% travel
• Phoenix, AZ will be the primary travel location, with additional day travel to Austin and other project locations as needed
• Candidates should be comfortable being in Phoenix for extended stretches (sometimes up to two weeks at a time)
• Company will cover travel support for project assignments, including lodging and transportation
