Transportation Operations Supervisor

IN-RG Transport 7474 W State Road 28 Elwood, IN 46036, USA Ensure all DOT safety rules and hours of service policies are followed Facilitate driver home time needs and requirements Communicate all customer requirements Process drivers load information and paperwork for payroll and billing functions Update billing requirements Process lumper requests Route and guide drivers on approved roads Update directions on customers loads Equipment management Coordinate vehicle maintenance appointments Maximize company asset utilization Manage driver and customer retention Direct and manage drivers to approved fuelling locations and mange Comdata fuel card maintenance Manage and issue cash advances for roads expenses as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2 years previous transportation experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Dispatch experience Interpersonal skills DOT rules and regulations Mapping and routing

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct: Responsible for 40-60 drivers Indirect: None
