Job Title Registered Nurse – PICU / Pediatric Float Pool Location Charlottesville, VA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment | Every other weekend and every other holiday required Key Responsibilities Float across multiple pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby Deliver age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations Adapt clinical practice to the specific needs and protocols of each unit within the float pool Adhere to facility float pool policies and scope of practice requirements at all times Accurately document patient care activities and assessments using Epic EMR Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required NICU experience required; must be comfortable across pediatric care settings Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand prior to start date) Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending) Epic EMR experience required Preferred Experience / Skills Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience strongly preferred Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred BSN preferred Why Join Us Opportunity to expand clinical expertise across a broad range of pediatric specialty units within a single contract assignment Work within a structured, supportive travel nursing program with clear compliance guidelines and onboarding orientation Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 771508.
