Job Full Description

Clamp Truck Operator - Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Location: Cottage Grove Heights Area (near 95th & Stony Island)
Interview Required: Yes, onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Clamp Truck Operator to handle large paper rolls (2,000-5,500 lbs.), unload rail containers, load outbound trailers, and support daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate clamp forklift to move, load, and unload heavy paper rolls
Receive, scan, and put away inbound materials; pick and scan orders for outbound shipments
Follow SOPs and maintain 100% inventory accuracy
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues
Assist with staging, wrapping, labeling, and preparing product
Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all OSHA + company safety guidelines
Participate in cycle counts and cross-training as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
1+ year clamp forklift experience (paper or heavy materials preferred)
Ability to safely handle loads up to 5,500 lbs.
Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and safety
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in a loud warehouse environment

Additional Requirements

Safety-sensitive role
Must pass a 5-panel drug test (includes marijuana)
Must clear background check
