Scale Operator Position Twin City Staffing is hiring a scale operator for a fast-paced operation in Minnesota. In this dynamic role, you will manage the weighing and tracking of inbound and outbound freight vehicles while providing excellent customer service to drivers and site personnel. Location: New Brighton, MN; you will be traveling to various locations, up to an hour drive Wage: $28.00 $30.00/hr. Depending on qualifications Hours: 7:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday Friday (Flexibility for longer days or earlier start times) Benefits of the scale operator: Top competitive hourly wage with regular weekday hours Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans Excellent opportunities for career advancement and growth within the company Positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment Duties of the scale operator: Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks using computerized scale systems, record weights, and issue accurate scale tickets Greet drivers, verify shipping paperwork, direct site traffic, and communicate via two-way radios with dispatch and field crews Maintain accurate data entry logs, process daily receipts or payments, and generate daily site activity reports Enforce site safety rules, inspect material loads as required, and maintain a clean scale house environment Requirements of the scale operator: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Previous scale operating experience Moderate computer proficiency, including data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Excel Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and sit at a computer workstation for extended periods Able to travel to various locations, up to an hour drive time Additional information: Apply today!
