Registered School Nurse (Per Diem)

$45 per hour

Job Description:

Registered Nurse (Per Diem) for a private Special Education School specializing in the treatment of children ages 3-21 of various psychiatric diagnoses. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential for this job role. New graduates are welcome to apply. Job duties include:

Administering medications and monitor potential side effects of medications.
Experience with first aid treatment.
Maintain student health records (physical, schools forms, immunization records, labs & consults)
Collaborating with psychiatrist in treatments goals for students.
Collaborating with the healthcare team in regard to treatment plan for students.
Facilitate positive student responses to normal growth and development. Provide therapeutic communication.

Requirements:

Current New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
CPR Certification
Child Abuse Certification

Job Type: PER DIEM

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
2-3 Days a Week (must be flexible)

Pay Rate : $45.00 Hourly
Work Location : In person
