Automotive Technician Needed

Wells Automotive is a high-volume automotive repair facility that has been serving the Gold Coast area for over 40 years. As a family owned and operated business, we believe in earning and retaining a vast customer base.

We are one of the only auto repair facilities left in the area and we are continuing to grow and succeed due to the strong team and business model.

PAY RANGE: $60,000 - $80,000

RESPONSIBILITES:

· Ability to inspect, diagnose and repair all makes and models of automobiles

· Ability to effectively communicate with Service manager to ensure all repairs and parts needed for each vehicle are accurately noted

· Document work performed

· Road-test or move vehicles when required

· Ensure that customer’s cars are kept clean

· Keep shop area clean

· Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 3 years work experience in a professional shop

· Must have own tools

· ASE certification is desired but not necessary

· Good communication skills

· Strong teamwork skills

· Performs well in a face-paced work environment

· Self-motivated

· Must have a clean and valid driver’s license

· Drug-free workplace
