If you're looking to grow with a company and are ready for a challenge, National Coatings is the place for you! Responsibilities and Duties:Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by priming, sanding, sealing, and patching, utilizing a variety of painting materials including varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes.Color Matching: Cross-check colors and confirm supplied products to match job files.Application Skills: Apply materials to new construction, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision and expertise.Professional Representation: Exhibit a professional demeanor and effectively represent the company while working at client job sites across the U.S.Blueprint Interpretation: Understand and interpret blueprints and scope specifications to ensure accurate execution of painting tasks.Documentation: Complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner.Change Orders: Understand the importance of and proficiently complete field change orders and submittals.Equipment Proficiency: Trained and capable with multi-level scaffolding, extension ladders, and spray systems.Maintenance: Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition; always keep a clean and safe work area.Extensive Knowledge: Possess and apply in-depth knowledge of various painting materials and application methods. Experience and Qualifications:4+ years of experience as a commercial painter - experience in both exterior and interior commercial painting, wallcoverings, and coatings highly preferredWilling and able to travel to project sites across the U.S.Exceptional attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to safety protocols and proceduresValid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits Included:Medical Insurance w/ PPO and HSA Plan Options (Company Pays 95% of HSA Plan for Employee-Only)Dental & Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account with Company Match up to $2,000FSA / Dependent Care Savings Accounts401(k) Plan with Company MatchLife Insurance & Long-Term Disability (Company Paid)Short-Term Disability, Accident, and Voluntary Life Insurance Equal Employment Opportunity National Coatings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
