Growing together.As a part-time Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; and procuring drugs. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.Location: Highlands Behavioral Health is an innovative, 86-bed hospital offering comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and adolescents. Highlands Behavioral, located in Littleton, Colorado, has easy access to major highways and surrounding communities.Schedule: This position is scheduled to work one or two weekends a month, both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00am-2:00pm, and provide additional coverage as needed and as available to cover full-time technician PTO.About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are weekdays and holidays from 8:00am-4:00pm and weekends 10:00am-2:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets.Primary ResponsibilitiesPreparing, dispensing, and distributing medications across campus to Omnicell unitsRepackaging bulk medication bottles into unit dose packages, labeling of med dosesCollaborating with pharmacists and nurses for patient careYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Colorado Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Intern License in good standingRecent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacyProficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:Effective communications skills; verbal and writtenPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
