ROLE: AGILE SCRUM MASTER
ROLE SUMMARY: THE AGILE DELIVERY MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING THE SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVES THROUGH A COMBINATION OF AGILE SCRUM LEADERSHIP AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES. THIS ROLE SERVES AS THE PRIMARY FACILITATOR OF AGILE DELIVERY ACTIVITIES WHILE PROVIDING OVERSIGHT OF PROJECT PLANNING, DEPENDENCIES, RISKS, RESOURCE COORDINATION, STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION, AND DELIVERY EXECUTION.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL COLLABORATE WITH PRODUCT OWNERS, BUSINESS ANALYSTS, DEVELOPERS, QA RESOURCES, AND BUSINESS STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, PREDICTABILITY, AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT THROUGHOUT THE SOFTWARE DELIVERY LIFECYCLE.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: MID-LEVEL - 3+ YEARS SERVING AS A SCRUM MASTER, AGILE LEAD, PROJECT MANAGER, OR SIMILAR DELIVERY ROLE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
" 3-7 YEARS SERVING AS A SCRUM MASTER , AGILE LEAD, PROJECT MANAGER, OR DELIVERY MANAGER, OR SIMILAR ROLE.
" STRONG COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
" EXPERIENCE MANAGING RISKS, DEPENDENCIES, SCHEDULES, AND DELIVERY COMMITMENTS.
" EXPERIENCE FACILITATING CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS AND TRACKING FOLLOW-UP ACTIONS.
" HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE USING JIRA FOR SPRINT PLANNING, BACKLOG MANAGEMENT, DASHBOARD CREATION, AND REPORTING.
" STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF AGILE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY.
" DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE INITIATIVES SIMULTANEOUSLY.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
" CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER (CSM), PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER (PSM), OR SIMILAR CERTIFICATION.
" EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH TECHNOLOGY DELIVERY TEAMS.
" EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING ENGINEERING, TRANSPORTATION, RAILROAD, OR OTHER OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENTS.
" FAMILIARITY WITH MICROSOFT TEAMS AND SHAREPOINT.
" PROVEN ABILITY TO INFLUENCE WITHOUT DIRECT AUTHORITY.
