Guest Interaction: 1. Greet and interact with guests in a welcoming, personable, and professional manner. 2. Remain calm while listening to guest concerns and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution.2. Order Taking and Preparation: 1. Take orders and prepare both coffee beverages and breakfast food items. 2. Present bills, accept payments, and operate the POS system efficiently.3. Barista Craftsmanship: 1. Menu Expertise: Embrace the role of a barista by mastering espresso extraction and milk chemistry, while maintaining a deep understanding of our signature cocktail menu to suit our guests' specific needs and preferences. 2. Industry Innovation: Stay relevant in the industry and be aware of new trends; create new items related to pop culture to easily engage with our guests. 3. Exceptional Hospitality: Remain forward-facing and welcoming, creating an excellent experience for guests from the moment they enter until the moment they leave.4. Inventory Management: 1. Take a proper inventory at the start of each shift to assure preparedness for a busy day. 2. Restock and replenish inventory as the shift progresses. 3. Comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures. 4. Date and label all food products. Always remember FIFO, first in first out.5. Operational Excellence: 1. Maintain a flexible and focused approach in a fast-paced, growing environment. 2. Ensure that the café environment satisfies all five senses: good smells, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a clean, vibin’ atmosphere. 3. Assure the space is always clean and ready for health inspections.6. Teamwork and Leadership: 1. Be a rad co-worker, teammate, and leader in all situations, and feel empowered to make decisions. 2. Support associates as needed and help cover shifts when necessary.7. Other Duties: 1. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the café. 2. Communicate with management early and often to assure a smooth operation. 3. Check 7Shifts Announcements, Messages, and Outlook inboxes at the start of each shift to be aware of any changes or updates to the daily operations. 4. Use 7Shifts to communicate with coworkers, trade shifts, and request off shifts.*Note: This role may involve additional responsibilities not listed here. The Guest Experience Manager may delegate tasks but is ultimately responsible for their completion and success. The role requires adaptation to dynamic business needs and collaboration with various teams for overall success.***SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with daytime, and evening shifts.* Eagerness to learn and expand on coffee knowledge.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.* Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment.
