Part-Time or Full-Time Attorney

Jennrich Law is a Christ-centered general practice law firm. This position offers flexibility for either part-time or full-time work, mostly work from home with some required office meetings, with opportunities to handle a diverse caseload across civil litigation, criminal defense, and/or family law, depending on your experience and interest areas.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage cases while also benefiting from a collaborative environment with administrative and legal support.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Engage in client consultations and case strategy development
• Negotiate settlements and plea agreements
• Maintain case files and meet court deadlines

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota and in good standing
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in civil litigation, criminal law, or family law
• Strong legal writing, communication, and courtroom skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
• Commitment to client advocacy and ethical representation

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Trial or motion practice experience
• Experience in both public defense or prosecution and private practice
• Familiarity with local court rules and procedures
• Experience with bankruptcy, social security, or personal injury law.

Benefits & Compensation

• $50,000-$80,000 annual salary (commensurate with experience and part or full-time status), with opportunities for commissions/profit sharing
• Partner track eligible after three years
