Automation Technician

Automation Technician

The Automation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a background in automation technology and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities:

Install, configure, and commission automation equipment and systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and robotic systems.
Basic programming and debugging of PLCs and HMIs to perform desired functions and interface with other control systems.
Perform basic calibration on instrumentation: pressure, flow, differential pressure, temperature, level transmitters, and control valves.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to identify and address issues before they cause downtime.
Troubleshoot automation systems to diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and safety, and recommend upgrades.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and system modifications.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with automation equipment and installations.
