Campus Data Controller (Grades: 9-12)

Campus Data Controller (Grades: 9‑12) (RTP20260622‑015) Responsibilities Collect all necessary data to maintain systems supporting transcripts, grade reporting, rank‑in‑class, student scheduling, master schedule, instructor file, special needs, LPAC/Bilingual, busing, immunization, social security/state ID numbers, city and state of birth, language surveys, college entry codes, TAG program, dropout recovery, and student demographic data. Verify accuracy of processed data, recognize discrepancies, and take corrective action to support PEIMS and court reporting requirements. Complete all input documents and update the student database via electronic data transmission to maintain the instructor file, student demographic and enrollment data, and grade reporting. Enter course master of all courses offered on campus into the database. Utilize computer systems for data transmission, database inquiry, print products, grade reporting, and attendance. Request, pick up, and distribute all student database products to appropriate school offices and personnel. Interpret student database products and apply them appropriately. Communicate and cooperate with other offices within the building, school district, and other districts. Plan and schedule tasks considering school priorities and the departmental calendar. Implement and maintain a manual record‑keeping system for documentation of supported systems. Attend scheduled department workshops to stay current on systems. Maintain regular and punctual attendance at the worksite. Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment or alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus‑based employees because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the site are essential job duties. All federally funded incumbents of this position must comply with time and effort reporting requirements through personnel activity reports or periodic certification, as appropriate. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision. Demonstrated keyboarding and/or ten‑key calculator skills. Demonstrated flexibility to cope with the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
