Salary: $145,000-$175,000

Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, from case strategy through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare discovery, manage discovery processes, and address discovery disputes.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear before New Jersey state and federal courts and in arbitrations.
• Manage day-to-day case activities and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct legal research and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
• Experience in New Jersey state courts.
• Demonstrated deposition and courtroom experience.
• Strong skills in pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and discovery dispute resolution.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases and clients independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience appearing in both state and federal courts in New Jersey.
• Experience handling arbitrations.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Interest in professional development, mentorship, and business development.
