Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' trauma history and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients articulate their experiences with trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care for comprehensive treatment outcomes.

• Support clients during crisis situations, employing intervention techniques and adaptive strategies to manage trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about the effects of trauma, available resources, and coping strategies to foster support outside of therapy.

• Maintain precise, confidential records and documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Engage actively in professional development through continuing education and research to advance knowledge in trauma therapy and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with the aftereffects of trauma such as PTSD, anxiety, and stress-related disorders. Our clients often present complex emotional and behavioral challenges, and your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, exhibiting empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective patient management.

• Demonstrated ability to stay composed under pressure and support clients through challenging emotional experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
