Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including established programs like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to support clients in reducing stress, enhancing relaxation, and improving overall mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments that identify each client's unique challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals; tailor mindfulness practices to each individual's specific needs.

• Lead clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques designed to facilitate self-awareness, emotional balance, and stress reduction.

• Organize and facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focusing on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individualized therapy sessions to address clients' mental health concerns and promote their personal development.

• Collaborate closely with other therapists and healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment plan that integrates mindfulness practices with conventional therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, progress notes, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Commit to personal mindfulness practice and ongoing professional development to deepen expertise in MBSR and related therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health counseling services cater to a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current & valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for creating a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor and a comforting presence in a therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, though candidates with a demonstrated interest in mindfulness practices will also be considered.

• Experience in delivering group therapies and leading workshops on stress management and mindfulness.

• Proficient ability to integrate mindfulness into therapeutic interventions for varied mental health needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
