Project Coordinator / Customer Operations CoordinatorLocation: Wappingers Falls, NY (On-site)Employment Type: Contract-to-HireBackground Check Required | No Drug TestAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Project Coordinator / Customer Operations Coordinator to support a leading medical device company that specializes in advanced patient simulation technology used in healthcare training environments.This role serves as a central point of contact between customers, internal teams, distribution partners, finance, and banking partners to ensure orders move smoothly from purchase order submission through fulfillment. The environment is highly relationship-driven and customer-focused, with a strong emphasis on follow-through, problem-solving, and providing a white-glove customer experience.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and coordinating multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced business environment.What You'll Be DoingProcess customer purchase orders and manage order entry activities with a high level of accuracyServe as a primary point of contact for both new and existing customers throughout the order lifecycleCoordinate with internal teams including Finance, Subscription Services, Order Management, and DistributionProvide a white-glove customer experience by ensuring customer questions, issues, and requests are handled promptly and professionallyResearch and resolve order discrepancies, payment issues, and fulfillment concernsWork directly with banking partners when necessary to investigate and solve payment-related issuesMaintain detailed and accurate records within Salesforce and other business systemsSupport customers through the ordering process while ensuring all required information and documentation are completed correctlyHandle a mix of administrative work, data entry, and customer communicationManage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detailWhat We're Looking ForMust HaveStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and organizational abilitiesStrong problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex customer situationsExperience using Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to learn and work within Salesforce or similar CRM systemsComfortable handling phone calls as part of the role (approximately 10-20% of the day)Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlinesNice to HaveOrder processing or order management experiencePurchase order (PO) experienceExperience working with finance, billing, banking, or payment-related processesCustomer operations, account coordination, or project coordination experienceSalesforce experienceExperience in healthcare, medical device, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environmentsIdeal BackgroundsCandidates often succeed in this position if they come from:Customer serviceHospitality or restaurant managementRetail operationsCall center environmentsAdministrative supportAccount coordinationOrder managementBanking or financial services supportJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
