Neonatologist Physician Opportunity

Trinity Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neonatologist Physician to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team located in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This is a regional position where the physician will start in Grand Rapids and will begin rotation to Muskegon after an orientation period. The physician must be willing to work out of both locations. The Grand Rapids NICU is a 15-bed Level III and the Muskegon facility is an 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery. The current team includes 3 neonatology physicians and 18 advanced practice providers between Grand Rapids and Muskegon. The opportunity includes teaching residents, medical students, and fellows. The physician will work 7 days on/7 days off in Grand Rapids followed by 7 days on/7 days off in Muskegon. Call will only occur during the 7 day "on" period. The position offers the chance to work with an experienced interdisciplinary team. The candidate must be an experienced Board Certified provider or a TRULY Board Eligible new graduate. If the candidate is TRULY Board Eligible, they must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligible. Candidates with lapsed Board Certification or those needing to obtain it again are not accepted. The position is not open to commuters, secondary employment, locums candidates, or visa candidates.
