Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform circulator duties throughout surgical procedures
• Apply Level I trauma experience to manage high-acuity surgical cases
• Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 24–36 hours per month as directed by OR leadership
• Work 2–3 weekend shifts per month as required
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 designated holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending licensure may be considered at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated Level I trauma experience
• Circulator experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Non-local candidates only — must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience charting in Cerner
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with high-acuity, teaching hospital environments
