Hilltop Holdings is looking to hire a Manager of Accounting. The Manager of Accounting is considered an experienced professional in their field. The role is primarily responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a team of professional staff. The Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing various general accounting departmental functions (e.g., cash management, month-end close, etc.) with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required. Master’s degree in accounting or other graduate finance degree(s) preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressively challenging accounting experience, including supervisory experience.Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience strongly desired. Capable of meeting all professional standards of a public accounting firm and/or public company environment.Knowledge of diverse business processes in a wide range of industriesPractical experience with financial services industry-specific accounting preferred.
