Housekeeping Manager

Welcome to Montage International. We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager who will manage day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping department. We are an equal opportunity employer. Summary The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for management and day‑to‑day operations for the Housekeeping department. Essential Functions Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring service excellence and supporting the Director of Housekeeping. Manage, mentor, coach, counsel and train the housekeeping team. Build an exceptional team while supporting the Director. Work with Workday software and recruiting system software. Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards. Hire, train, supervise and develop colleagues for maximum effectiveness. Provide seamless employee relations with contract employees, ensuring proper training and culture integration. Establish safe working conditions through appropriate training. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. At least two years of experience in housekeeping within a luxury resort. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Opera preferred. Proficiency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to supervise subordinate staff, assign duties, evaluate service, and administer disciplinary actions. Ability to prepare and analyze data and reports. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and service techniques. Basic computational and computer skills. Budgetary analysis capabilities. Knowledge of housekeeping cost controls such as manpower and productivity. Physical Requirements Position requires walking and giving direction for most of the working day; must be able to stand, exert well‑paced mobility for up to six hours, lift up to 40 lbs., and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and operation of office equipment.
