Job Scope: Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment. Perform preventative maintenance of commercial oil and gas boilers, hot water and steam heating equipment. Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Dispatcher in a timely manner Participate in Emergency On-Call Servicerotation forinstallationsand repairs Communicating effectivelywith customers and serviceteamto build strong relationships internally and externally Education: A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required. Experience: Four to ten years of related experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Computer Skills: Field to Base computer training will be provided. Certificates & Licenses required: Massachusetts oil burner license Other Requirements: Valid Drivers License - Class D & OSHA 10 CertificationOTHER REQUIREMENTS (TRADE SPECIFIC):
Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial Heating systems including Steam, Hot water and controls, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits.
