Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Night Shift CorrectionsJoin our team as an LVN for night shifts in a correctional facility in Huntsville, Texas, providing vital healthcare in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Provide nursing care in a correctional setting.Administer medications and IV therapy.Collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care.Maintain accurate patient records.Float across units within a 50 mile radius as needed.Qualifications:Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.BLS and IV Therapy Certification.2+ years of nursing experience, including 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg.Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Schedule:Night shifts: 17:45 to 06:15.13-week assignment, 36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime.Flexibility for scheduling and unit floating.Additional Info:COVID-19 vaccination required, exemptions accepted.Orientation provided post-credentialing.Travel reimbursement and bonus available.Ideal for a resilient LVN ready to impact correctional healthcare.
