Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a 6-bed NICU with a 3:1 patient ratio
• Assist with procedures including line placement, intubation, and circumcision
• Operate and monitor equipment including GE bedside monitors, Giraffe and Panda Warmers, phototherapy lights, and feeding/medication pumps
• Document patient care using Meditech and CPN electronic documentation systems
• Practice family-centered care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, OB hospitalists, and anesthesiologists
• Float to the Newborn Nursery as needed per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital NICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or mechanical ventilation
• Experience with central line management
• Stabilization experience and/or attendance at deliveries
• Background in developmental care practices
